The Sensual Heart 09 North American Tour will bring circles of women together to create sacred space, acknowledge and share our grief about violence against women; sexual, domestic and war time, and to transform our collective grief through celebration and dance, for ourselves, each other and our sisters globally.

I am thrilled to tell you that " The Sensual Heart", will be taking place in 6 cities across North America this Spring and Fall launching this event for years to come as it grows and spreads to more and more cities. A powerful and dynamic team of 10 women and I are dancing this vision into being taking care of the logistics, production management and PR. Leela Francis of Vividly Woman is travelling to each location to facilitate the actual event.

Sensual Heart Tour 09 Partners

VividExistence Vividly Woman : A global community of women's circles re-uniting women with their sensuality, spirituality and creativity in service of ourselves, our sisters, all beings and the planet.

Women Thrive Worldwide : We are inviting sponsorship for the events and all donated funds will be given to Women Thrive Worldwide to support their campaign to end violence against women worldwide through advocacy for the International Violence Against Women Act. See IVAWA flyer attached.

Gahaya Gifted Hands : Ticket profits from the events will be donated to Gahaya Gifted Hands, a non-profit life skills training program in Rwanda that is helping women to recreate their lives and learn self sustaining basket weaving skills so that they can earn a living. Hutus and Tutsis are now weaving baskets together side by side.

Fair Winds Trading: In addition we are partnering with Fair Winds Trading, a for-profit organization that markets the Rwandan baskets in the US. The alliance between Gahaya, now a co-operative of over 4000 women & Fair Winds Trading is contributing significantlyto the economy in Rwanda, Fair Winds Trading has changed the lives of thousands of families in Rwanda and inspired healing and peace between people who were formerly enemies.

Sponsorship Opportunity

We are currently inviting individuals, organizations, small businesses and corporations to be our official sponsors for all 6 events. There are 2 options for sponsorship, Primary and Secondary:

Primary Sponsor

In order to be eligible as a Primary sponsor you must: Purchase here
1. Have a mailing list of at least 500.
2. Forward the e-flyer advertising the event to a minimum of 500 recipients 1 time per month     when events occur.
3. Donate a minimum of $400 to Women Thrive Worldwide

Primary Sponsor Perks:
Your Logo and link to your website appear on the event e-flyer which goes out to over 5000 recipients each event month. We will display your brochures at each of the events.

Secondary Sponsor

In order to be eligible as a Secondary sponsor you must: Purchase here
1. Donate a minimum of $100 to Women Thrive Worldwide.

Secondary Sponsor Perks:
1. Your name on e-flyer.

Tax receipts are available. All funds will support advocacy for the International Violence Against Women Act. See IVAWA flyer attached.
